Job Description is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer/Software Tester Intern for its advanced e-commerce management platform.

Terms of Hire: Internship (3-6 months)


Job Overview

As a Quality Assurance specialist, you will collaborate with the product manager and the developers to test as well as execute testing projects on ecomz platform. You will be involved in technology projects for the development and enhancement of ecomz platform and ensure the highest level of quality.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Act as a guardian of software quality.
  • Participate in the testing, design, debugging, and implementation of software quality standards and procedures to maintain high levels of software quality and product reliability
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Working knowledge of different operating systems and browsers
  • Be confidential with sensitive and internal information
  • Develop test plans, scripts, and other documentation for various functional and nonfunctional testing activities
  • Execute manual, automated, and/or scenario-based testing on multiple platforms and devices
  • Write clear and specific bug reports
  • Work closely with the development team to diagnose issues, resolve defects, and ensure that product releases follow project specifications
  • Be proactive on following through testing progress to ensure minimum technical debt
  • Monitor product defects and maintain proper QA documentation
  • Work with the team lead to prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends in software development and production



  • Fresh Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology, engineering, or a similar field is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects at any given time.
  • Ability to collaborate, act as a team player, communicate across various layers of the organization, and work in cross-functional distributed teams
  • Self-motivation and a high sense of responsibility and punctuality
  • Experience with scalability, performance, and security testing a plus
