Job Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Online Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and presenting those plans to the upper management. You will be monitoring, reporting, and devising plans to improve the performance of the team.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop online and offline sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets
  • Provide daily leadership and support to a team of sales executives and ensure that they achieve their monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets
  • Provide ongoing training and development to the Sales Executives as well as the new hires
  • In conjunction with senior sales leadership, develop and implement key performance indicators and measures of success for individual Sales Executives as well as the team as a whole
  • Manage the sales metrics and key performance indicators
  • Observe day-to-day sales calls and participate in closing deals and handling problem calls
  • Refine the sales process and look for the best practices
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive more leads through campaigns, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Personally lead the team at large trade shows, inspiring outstanding performance in face-to-face sales situations
  • Work with other members of leadership to develop additional sales incentives and performance goals
  • Acquire full product knowledge in order to serve as a resource to individual team members throughout the sales process including demos to ensure Sales Executives are effectively articulating all that ChannelAdvisor has to offer to the benefit of our clients
  • Implement and utilize analytics to track sales trends and identify opportunities for growth
  • Conceptualize digital marketing initiatives, analyze data and measure results
  • Conduct extensive online research and be up to date with the latest marketing and selling strategies
  • Actively participate in scheduled internal weekly and annual sales meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant and beneficial information

 

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in sales management SAAS experience, 5-10 years overall sales experience
  • BS or BA degree preferred
  • Great experience in ecommerce or online sales
  • Experience in managing a team in a consultative, relationship-building phone selling environment.
  • Strong B2B and SaaS experience in selling to small to medium businesses
  • Proven track record of sales success in a complex software or technology environment (preferably SaaS)
  • Ability to communicate and convey the value proposition of a complex software platform via phone and online demos as well as in-person meetings
  • Experience utilizing an enterprise level CRM (preferably salesforce.com or hubspot sales) to monitor and manage daily, weekly and monthly sales activities of the team
  • Highly effective organizational and multitasking skills
  • Energetic, professional tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Google Analytics, Hubspot, Salesforce and other popular platforms and business tools
  • Experience in calculating CPA, CPC, PPS, CPA...
  • Strong knowledge in SEO, SEM, and PPC
  • Excellent grasp of social media, community, and website KPIs
  • The ability to identify and communicate analytical outcomes in person and in writing to both business and technical teams
