Job Description

 

The Sales Manager is responsible for increasing the revenue of the organizations by maximizing the usage of existing revenue channels and creating additional revenue channels. You are responsible for setting weekly and monthly sales targets, training staff (telesales or others), designing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring the performance of the sales team, coordinating with marketing to design sales offers, devise and run sales promotions, identify and create additional sales channels. Sales is a key component of the existing revenue channels you will be managing so you need to have experience with managing a telesales team, advanced managerial skills, and the ability to multitask. A top-notch Sales Manager provides strong guidance and assistance to the Telesales team, ultimately boosting company sales.

 

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Identifying opportunities within existing sales channels to maximize revenue, then proceed to work with the different parties to implement the changes needed to drive that revenue.
  • Find additional revenue streams from new channels and then establish the needed relationships and implementation needed
  • Meeting with the sales team to discuss sales strategies.
  • Training junior sales staff.
  • Writing and updating the team’s sales scripts and customer answer sheets.
  • Implementing sales strategies.
  • Managing the sales team and assisting junior staff.
  • Monitoring the performance of the sales team.
  • Setting weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Maintaining customer relationships.
  • Compiling and presenting sales reports.
  • Coordinating with marketing regarding campaign performance and feedback, and sales offers
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
  • Enter and update customer information in the CRM
  • Take and process orders/bookings in an accurate manner
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
  • Address any questions or issues customers may have  
  • Offer solutions based on clients’ needs and capabilities
  • Prepare and present achievements and KPIs
  • Has knowledge about the industry, the company and its competitors
  • Be Data Driven regarding performance and growth

 

Sales Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business management, Marketing, Human Services or similar field.
  • Previous experience working as a Sales Manager.
  • Experience in Telesales preferred.
  • Strong managerial and sales skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to write and present reports.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic (preferably local GCC dialogue)
  • Agile and flexible regarding changes and last minute requirements
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
  • Previous experience selling to GCC clients
  • Able to travel between KSA, UAE, and other markets
