Job Description

Carpolo is recruiting a Senior Business Developer. The role requires a self-driven, entrepreneurial candidate with previous work experience in a tech environment.

The Senior Business Developer will identify market opportunities secure and close deals with clients. In parallel, he/she will work with the technical team to plan and prioritize product feature backlog to continue to improve product offering based on user feedback and market needs.


  • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
  • Research markets, organizations, and users to find new opportunities
  • Research and implement web sales and marketing tools
  • Recruit, train, and develop junior staff members
  • Organize, document and communicate findings and insights
  • Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and entrepreneurial events
  • Prepare offers and proposals for clients in faultless written English
  • Oversee daily operations of the company
  • Develop goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met
  • Liaise with business and tech team to relay customer needs
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Participate in expansion activities
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Assist CEO in fundraising ventures



  • Candidate must combine excellent project management skills with an agile working mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • Experience in sales and marketing of tech solutions
  • Proficient in CRM, sales, marketing, project management tools and able to train team on using them
  • Passion for sustainability and social responsibility
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken; French is appreciated
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Ability to operate with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
