Job Overview

Ecomz is seeking a tech savvy content creator to bring fresh ideas and out-of-the-box content. The candidate will be responsible for driving traffic to the website and generating leads via compelling content and stories. He/she must be familiar with the ecommerce industry and work with a team of experts to ensure all copy is on-brand and optimized for optimal results. He/she will be accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering compelling content for cross-channel campaigns and a range of digital projects, including email,  blogs, ebooks, and social.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Write, edit, and upload original content that is visible to search engines and legitimately helpful to entrepreneurs from all over the world
  • Drive our content engine with frequent blog posts, downloadable guides, case studies, and email content crafted specifically for ecomz community
  • Coordinate content development, partnering with our communications and marketing teams to build a forward-thinking content strategy and calendar
  • Analyze how content performs, run ongoing SEO experiments, tweak existing content to grow traffic and leads
  • Create articles, newsletters, blogs, ebooks, web pages, landing pages, etc. to educate customers, retain them, and attract new audiences
  • Build content for user guide manuals and videos,  and interactive community forum
  • Support UI/UX team in areas of interaction design that require content or instructional communication
  • Educate yourself on all things ecommerce. That means doing conventional research, but also launching your own online store, and collaborating with the different divisions
  • Translate website pages from English to Arabic or from Arabic to English



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or any relevant field of study
  • Excellent command of the English and Arabic languages. French is a plus
  • Industry knowledge (tech, ecommerce, digital solutions, etc.), and understanding of emerging digital trends
  • A passion for online marketing, ecommerce and entrepreneurship
  • Experience in writing in the digital space and ability to write effective, market ready materials
  • Required software skills: Microsoft Suite, Hubspot knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
