ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an independent thinker and self-starter to play an important role in our journey towards the Perfect Order so that every order is the perfect order every day. In this Senior Product Owner role, you will enhance Orderbot’s value proposition and maximize the business value that the Scrum teams deliver to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Builds a shared understanding of the product across the company.
• Defines goals and creates the product vision for the development of projects.
• Acts as the primary liaison between clients, internal stakeholders and the Scrum team to ensure that project goals are clear and aligned with business objectives.
• Manages the product backlog and prioritizes needs based on business value.
• Defines the product roadmap, MVP and product increments.
• Ensures the Scrum team understands the What and the Why of each priority.
• Constantly maintains alignment between the high-level goals, the vision for a product or project, and the features that are being developed.
• Facilitates interviews and business requirement gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Refines epics and high-level story mapped features into detailed requirements that are understood by both business and technical audiences.
• Evaluates product progress through each iteration.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of product ownership or Agile product management experience.
• 5+ years of business analysis experience facilitating workshops and documenting requirements using a variety of techniques such as story maps, business workflows and use cases.
• 3+ years of experience with data warehouses and APIs.
• 3+ year of experience writing SQL queries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in business and technical contexts.

Assets

• Certified Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO)
• Certified Business Analyst (CBAP, CCBA) 
• Experience in eCommerce.
