Job Description
Overview about the Program:
From one crisis to another, Lebanon finds itself today at a crossroad. The country is struggling, whereas historically, it had one of the most prestigious public service in the Arab region. Many Lebanese public administrations were hubs of excellence and an inspiration to other countries: The rocket “ARZ”, the scientific research council, the “Inach”, the cadastre, the port of Beirut which inspired leaders such as Lee Kuan Yew to build Singapore’s port.
Let’s revive this tradition! Let’s re-capture the State: our State.
Public administration is the bedrock of government, where decisions that affect citizens are made. You can choose to leave. You can also choose to stay and transform the way this is done.
This program will allow you to Engage, Boost and Transform:
- Engage with a team of believers, former students like you who took the challenge, and with the “champions” from within, the public servants who are struggling to curb corrupt practices, enhance the performance of the Lebanese public sector and provide better services to taxpayers
- Boost public institutions with your innovative solutions, analytical thinking and expertise. Challenge the status quo in support of a more accountable, transparent and responsible political and economic governance in Lebanon.
- Transform the Lebanese public sector by leaving a footprint. Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at digitizing services, improving citizens’ lives, producing relevant public policies, public communication, transparency and accountability.
