ZRE S.A.L(hereafter referred to as “ZRE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of BDD Career Portal  (the “BDD Career Portal”).

Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use.

As used in this Privacy Policy, the terms "using" and "processing" information include using cookies on a computer, subjecting the information to statistical or other analysis and using or handling information in any way, including, but not limited to collecting, storing, evaluating, modifying, deleting, using, combining, disclosing and transferring information within our organization or among our affiliates or internationally.

Please read our Privacy Policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your personally identifiable information in accordance with BDD Career Portal.

 

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER

Your information may be transferred to - and maintained on - computers located outside of your country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

 

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

When you register with us through the BDD Career Portal and become a Registered User and when you choose to post a comment, or when you wish to contact another Registered User, we will ask you for personally identifiable information. This refers to information about you that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”). Personal Identity Information may include, but is not limited to, your name, gender, email address, academic background, profession, mailing address, phone number, picture or other details required to provide you with the Services.

You can also register to join by logging into online accounts you may have with third party service providers (“SNS”) (e.g. Facebook); each such account, a “Third Party Account”, via the BDD Career Portal as described below. As part of the functionality of the BDD Career Portal or Service, you may link your account with Third Party Accounts, by either: (i) providing your Third Party Account login information to ZRE through the BDD Career Portal or Service or; (ii) allowing ZRE to access your Third Party Account, as is permitted under the applicable terms and conditions that govern your use of each Third Party Account. You represent that you are entitled to disclose your Third Party Account login information to ZRE and/or grant ZRE access to your Third Party Account (including, but not limited to, for use for the purposes described herein), without breach by you of any of the terms and conditions that govern your use of the applicable Third Party Account and without obligating ZRE to pay any fees or making ZRE subject to any usage limitations imposed by the applicable SNS. If you decide to register by logging into a Third Party Account via the BDD Career Portal, we will obtain the Personal Information you have provided to the applicable SNS from your Third Party Accounts and use that information to create your ZRE account and you will become a Registered User. If there is information about your “friends” or people with whom you are associated in your Third Party Account, the information we obtain about those “friends” or people with whom you are associated, may also depend on the privacy settings such people have with the applicable SNS.

We also collect the other information that you provide as part of registration and the administration and personalization of your BDD Career Portal account profile (e.g., without limitation, zip code (on its own) and individual preferences or demographic information) (“Non-Identifying Information”).

If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in every newsletter we sent you.

 

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

The Personal Information and the Non-Identifying Information are accessible (i) to the concerned personnel and managers of ZRE (such as HR employees and manager), and to the personnel involved with the operation of BDD Career Portal (administration, legal, system administration), and (ii) external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers, IT companies) appointed, if necessary, as data processors by ZRE.

The employers (entities or individuals) shall be only entitled to access and review solely the Personal Information and the Non-Identifying Information of a User, job seeker, who applied for their job posting.

 

We may use the Personal Information and the Non-Identifying Information we collect from you in the following ways:

  - To allow us to better service you in responding to your service requests.

  - To send periodic emails regarding your Registered User’s requests and services, resolve disputes and/or troubleshoot problems.

  - To perform analytics and conduct user research;

  - To verify your compliance with your obligations in our Terms of Use;

  - To improve the quality of the BDD Career Portal and the Services;

  - To recommend jobs to job seekers and job seekers to recruiters.

 

THIRD PARTY DISCLOSURE

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personal Information unless we provide you with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating the BDD Career Portal, in facilitating and providing the Services on our behalf, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep the Personal Information confidential and to not use it.

ZRE may disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect or defend the rights or property of ZRE, (iii) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or the public, violations of ZRE’s Terms of Service, or (iv) protect against legal liability.

ZRE may disclose your Personal Information with business partners with your consent. For example, but without limitation, if you elect to participate in a co-branded promotion, Personal and Non-Identifying Information that you may provide in that context will be shared as disclosed in the context of its collection.

ZRE also may share Non-Identifying Information in its discretion. ZRE may also disclose anonymous user statistics in order to describe the Services to current and prospective business partners and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.

However, ZRE may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your Personal Information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy.

 

SECURITY

The BDD Career Portal is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

We use regular malware scanning.

Your Personal Information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

We implement a variety of security measures when a Registered User places an order to maintain the safety of your personal information.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

However, no communications over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, ZRE cannot guarantee absolute security of your Personal Information and you should take special care in deciding what Personal Information you choose to provide.

 

THIRD PARTY LINKS

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on BDD Career Portal. The fact that we link to a website or present a banner ad or other type of advertisement is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. We do not exercise control over third party websites. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of BDD Career Portal and welcome any feedback about these sites.

 

COOKIES

“Cookies” are small files placed in memory and/or disk on your computer that assist us in providing customized services and better functionality as you move from page to page within BDD Career Portal This information helps us figure out which of our web features are highly successful and which sites might need improvement. Cookies make the personalization of your internet experiences possible. For example, without the use of cookie files, it would be virtually impossible for us to remember your username and password as you click from page to page and you would need to log-in over and over again as you interact with pages of the BDD Career Portal that need to know who you are or what actions you have taken in previous pages of a session. We also offer certain features that are only available through the use of a “cookie.” You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits; however, many aspects of our Service may not work properly without them.

 

CONTROL OF YOUR PASSWORD

You are responsible for all actions taken with your login information and password, including charges and fees. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your User Account’s password or login information to any third party. If you choose to share this information with any third party, you are responsible for all actions taken with your login information and password. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your Personal Information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised in any way, you should immediately change your password.

 

CHANGE OR DELETION OF YOUR INFORMATION

All Registered User may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in their registration profile by contacting us at hr@beirutdigitaldistrict.com or editing the relevant part of their profile. If you would like us to cancel your account, please contact us or select the delete profile feature in the settings section and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have any legal obligation or a legitimate business reason to retain the information contained in your account.

 

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

ZRE reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify this Privacy Policy at any time and without prior notice. If we modify it, we will post the modification on the BDD Career Portal or provide you with notice of the modification. By continuing to access or use the BDD Career Portal or Services after we have modified this privacy policy, you are indicating that you agree to be bound by the modified terms. If the modified terms of this privacy policy are not acceptable to you, your only recourse is to cease using the BDD Career Portal and Services. ZRE encourages you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of our updates.

 

THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIRED FOR USERS

Pursuant to ZRE’s Terms of Use you must be 18 years old or older to use the Services. We do not collect or maintain Personal Information directly from people we actually know are under 18 years of age. If we learn that a person under the age of 18 has directly submitted his or her Personal Information to BDD Career Portal, we will take steps to remove that person’s Personal Information from our databases.

 

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The resolution of any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the Services or your use of the Services or the BDD Career Portal, including this Privacy Policy, will be governed by the Section 25 of BDD Career Portal’s Terms of Use.
