At The Padelist, our Academy is where the future of padel takes shape. With a skilled team of coaches already in place, we’re looking for a Technical Director to oversee the Academy’s strategic direction, ensure the highest quality standards, and drive player development and engagement. This role is central to maintaining excellence across programs while aligning the Academy with The Padelist’s growth and community goals. 

Your Mission: 

You will ensure every player and coach experience within the Academy reflects The Padelist’s commitment to excellence. Acting as a bridge between leadership and coaches, you’ll oversee program quality, support operational workflows, and foster a thriving padel community — without handling day-to-day coaching or tournament logistics. 

What You’ll Do: 

Program Oversight & Quality 

• Ensure all training programs delivered by coaches meet The Padelist’s quality and performance standards. 
• Monitor program effectiveness using player feedback, performance metrics, and data insights. 
• Identify opportunities to enhance and innovate Academy offerings. 

Coaching Team Support 

• Mentor and guide coaches, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment. 
• Support onboarding and professional development for Academy staff. 

Community Building 

• Strengthen engagement within the Academy player community. 
• Develop initiatives that promote long-term participation, loyalty, and skill development. 

Operational Oversight 

• Manage Academy-related budgets, inventory, and resources efficiently. 
• Use and oversee The Padelist systems for scheduling, reporting, and tracking player progress. 
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure Academy programs integrate seamlessly with venue workflows. 

Strategic Alignment 

• Align Academy initiatives with broader company goals and growth strategies. 
• Track KPIs, evaluate program performance, and recommend improvements to maintain The Padelist’s position as the leading padel academy in the region. 

What We’re Looking For 

• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Director in a padel academy. 
• Proven experience in sports academy management, technical oversight, or coaching leadership. 
• Strong mentorship and leadership skills — capable of guiding coaches while maintaining consistency and quality. 
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to oversee multiple programs and priorities. 
• Experience using digital tools, reporting systems, or scheduling platforms to monitor performance and operations. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to engage effectively with coaches, players, parents, and internal teams. 
• Passion for padel, sports, and community development. 
• Experience in fast-growing or startup environments is a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business administration, or a related field.
