Summary:

The Office Messenger is responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of documents, packages, and other items between the company and various external and internal parties. This role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver documents, packages, and other items to various locations as assigned.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to designated recipients.
• Collect cash money or check from customers and hand-deliver it to responsible
• Deposit monetary funds to the bank
• Handle and pay state-related bills, such as Telephone and municipality bills, under the supervision of the accounting department
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery to save time and fuel.
• Adjust routes as needed based on traffic, weather conditions, and other factors.
• Communicate effectively with recipients to confirm delivery details and timings.
• Report any issues or delays to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure that the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding deliveries and collections.
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while on duty.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a messenger or in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
