Job Description

Apliman’s Technical Internship Program offers a hands-on opportunity to explore the world of Quality Assurance (QA) in a modern software development environment. Over the course of three months, interns will gain practical experience in software testing, agile workflows, defect tracking, and ensuring software reliability.

Interns will work with QA tools and practices such as:

• Writing and maintaining test cases using TestRail
• Manual testing of web applications & API's
• Defect tracking and reporting using JIRA 
• Introduction to test automation (API) and maintaining test scripts
• Basic performance testing practices
• Work in agile - Scrum environment - Scrum Ceremonies.

Throughout the program, interns will be exposed to real product environments, collaborate closely with developers and PO's, attend team meetings, and learn how to identify, document, and report issues effectively.

Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with basic programming/scripting.
• Understanding of software testing principles and types of testing 
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment
• Full-time availability during the internship period

Working Conditions:

The internship consists of 3 distinct phases over 3 months:

• Phase 1 – Introductory & Self-Learning:
  Interns will undergo a self-paced onboarding and learning period with access to training materials and mentorship.
• Phase 2 & 3 – Hands-On Tasks & Project Work:
  Interns will be assigned specific QA-related tasks and participate in real-time testing activities. Attendance (on-site or hybrid, as per the project needs) may be required during these phases.
