Internship overview:

This internship offers an opportunity to work with Related’s AI & Data Science team on cutting-edge technologies that power next-generation loyalty and engagement platforms across the MENA region. The role combines research, model development, and practical implementation to enhance customer personalization, fraud detection, and predictive analytics.

Majors preferences: Computer Science, Computer Engineering

Technical requirements:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python (required); familiarity with C++ or JavaScript is a plus.
• AI & Machine Learning Frameworks: Working knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn for model development and experimentation.
• Data Handling: Experience using NumPy, pandas, and Matplotlib/Seaborn for data preprocessing, visualization, and analysis.
• Model Development: Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and feature engineering techniques.
• APIs & Integration: Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate AI models into applications or backend systems.
• Databases: Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for managing and querying datasets.
• Version Control: Experience with Git/GitHub for code management and collaboration.
• Cloud & Deployment (Preferred): Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP for model hosting and data pipeline integration.
• Mathematics & Statistics: Good grasp of linear algebra, probability, and statistics applied in ML contexts.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving mindset, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team.
