Role Overview
The Senior Training Coordinator leads the planning, coordination, quality assurance, and reporting of all training activities across Forward MENA’s programs. The role ensures that learning experiences are organized, efficient, learner-centered, and aligned with Forward MENA’s mission to skill, upskill, and reskill talent for improved employability and earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Planning & Implementation
- Lead the end-to-end coordination of training cycles across all programs.
- Develop and manage training schedules, cohort calendars, and session plans.
- Ensure all logistical elements (venues, materials, platforms, trainers) are prepared ahead of each cohort.
2. Training Delivery, Quality Assurance & Improvement
- Monitor training sessions, learner engagement, and trainer performance.
- Ensure training content and delivery align with job-ready skill standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and resolve challenges during training cycles.
- Collect and analyze learner and trainer feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on market trends, emerging skills, and new training demands.
3. Learner Experience & Communication Oversight
- Serve as the primary escalation point for learners across cohorts.
- Oversee communication handled by junior coordinators and ensure consistency and responsiveness.
- Track learner progress, attendance, and completion rates, intervening early when risks appear.
- Ensure a supportive and engaging learner experience from onboarding to graduation.
- Coordinate with the Career Services team to support transitions toward employability pathways.
- Work with the Project Manager and Executive Director to evaluate and integrate new courses or updates that enhance program relevance.
4. Data, Reporting & Documentation
- Oversee accurate documentation of attendance, certificates, evaluations, and learner performance.
- Ensure proper maintenance of databases, trackers, and training files.
- Prepare consolidated training reports for internal management and donor requirements.
- Track KPIs related to training quality, learner completion, satisfaction, and earning improvement outcomes.
5. Training Provider & Trainer Coordination
- Support the identification and evaluation of training providers and trainers.
- Coordinate with procurement for contracting and documentation processes.
- Monitor provider performance to ensure adherence to required standards.
- Follow up to ensure timely and successful implementation of all training activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in training coordination or education program management.
- Experience mentoring or managing junior staff is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic, and French.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS/digital training tools.
- Experience in youth-focused or donor-funded projects is an asset.
