Organization Overview:

shareQ is a Lebanese non-profit organization launched by a group of dedicated young professionals in 2012. ShareQ is dedicated to innovating sustainable social projects and implementing them in collaboration with more than 30 NGOs. ShareQ has currently two main departments, ProAbled (www.proabled.com) and ProAbled Social Kitchen.

Internship location: Aintoura - Kesserwan

Internship overview:

• Collaborate with the Financial Officer and other team members to improve accounting procedures and internal controls  
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including project budgets, forecasts, variance analysis. 
• Maintain project accounting records, including invoices, payments, contracts, and financial documentation. 
• Provide financial guidance and support to project teams, answering queries, and addressing financial-related issues. 
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis. 
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of financial reports. 
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections. 
• Handle any additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by the finance team. 

Majors preferences: Business Accounting, Finance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• Proven minimum 3 years of experience in accounting. 
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Visual Dolphin). 
• Languages: Fluent in Arabic, and English (French is a plus)
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Leadership skills: Taking initiative and problem-solving. 
• Stress tolerance: Ability to work under pressure. 
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management 
• Strong communication skills
