About MedGEO: 

Our Health Tech startup, MedGEO, has been operating in stealth mode for almost three years. Since our launch, we have developed and deployed a groundbreaking cloud-based SaaS platform tailored to the healthcare industry. MedGEO's first-of-its-kind software solution empowers hospitals and healthcare stakeholders by automating administrative and clinical workflows. Not only does it optimize workflows and save time, but it also captures significant revenue losses at the point of care. Furthermore, our solution offers real-time analytics that extract essential data, ultimately enhancing utilization and improving healthcare outcomes. But this is just the beginning!

We are first movers in addressing critical gaps in this space and aiming to speed up follow-on development. After completing nine months of pilot phases this year, we are now gaining momentum with our initial early adopter partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript and Python.
• Utilize AWS services to build and manage cloud-based solutions.
• Conduct code and reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
• Design and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store and manage data effectively.
• Mentor and manage junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
• Work with engineering and product development team that is globally distributed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Expertise in React JS and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience with database design and optimization.
• Proven experience in SaaS development and deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in design and development products for healthcare industry
