Job Description

As the Lens platform grows, we will add forecasting and predictive intelligence features on top of our POS dataset. We are identifying and building relationships with AI/ML engineers now so we are ready when that phase begins. This is a standby role  project-based engagement to start, with the potential to grow into a core position.

Key Responsibilities

• Build forecasting models on top of FMCG sellout data
• Develop demand prediction and trend detection features
• Work with the data engineer to access and prepare model training data
• Translate model outputs into actionable signals for the platform
• Advise on AI product direction as features evolve

Requirements

• Experience building and deploying ML models in production
• Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch)
• Background in time-series forecasting or FMCG/retail data is a plus
• Comfortable working in a project-based, async setup
• Strong communicator  able to explain model logic to non-technical stakeholders
