Internship duration: 3 months

Internship overview:

• Process Mapping & Documentation: Document existing and future business processes to align with ERP functionality. This includes mapping workflows for modules like finance, HR, or supply chain.
• System Configuration & Customization: Assist in setting up ERP modules, customizing system settings, and performing configuration testing, such as configuring module settings and creating user instructions.
• Data Migration & Mapping: Assist with mapping, cleaning, and migrating data from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.
• Testing and Validation: Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document bugs, and validate system performance before go-live.
• Project Support: Support project managers by tracking project timelines, managing risks in a risk register, and facilitating communication among team members.
• Training & Support: Create user manuals and training materials, and provide post-implementation support to employees.

Technical requirements:

• ERP Configuration: Ability to set up and customize modules (e.g., Finance, HR, Inventory, Supply Chain) to meet business requirements.
• Business Process Mapping: Translating company workflows (e.g., procurement, sales orders) into system-defined processes.
• Data Migration & Management: Assisting with data cleansing, mapping, and importing data from legacy systems into the new ERP system.
• SQL & Database Understanding: Proficiency in querying databases (SQL) to troubleshoot data issues and validate migrations.
• System Testing & Validation: Conducting Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and debugging, often using QA tools to ensure the system works as expected.
• Reporting & Analytics: Creating, customizing, and generating reports, dashboards, and KPIs. 

Other skills:

• Programming Languages: Familiarity with Python (common for Odoo), XML, or .NET is a strong advantage for technical roles.
• API & Integration: Basic knowledge of REST APIs and middleware to connect ERP systems with third-party apps (e.g., e-commerce, CRM).
• Technical Documentation: Writing functional specifications, user guides, and documentation for new configurations.
• Advanced MS Excel: Proficient in Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
