Junior Oracle Developer
Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Oracle Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience (or strong fresh graduates) who are eager to build their career in backend development using Oracle technologies and PL/SQL.
You will work on enterprise-grade systems, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of database-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries
- Support database design and data modeling activities
- Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with development and business teams to implement solutions
- Contribute to system enhancements and new feature development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in software development (or strong academic background for fresh graduates)
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Basic to intermediate experience with Oracle PL/SQL
- Understanding of programming concepts (loops, conditions, error handling)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Oracle APEX is a plus
- Experience with backend development (Java, .NET, or similar)
- Familiarity with Git / version control
- Understanding of APIs and integrations
