Internship overview:
Apliman’s AI Internship Program is designed to prepare the next generation of AI-native professionals — individuals who can build with AI, work alongside AI agents, and embed AI responsibly into business processes. Over the course of three months, interns will gain hands-on experience in agentic AI development, AI integration, and AI-assisted workflows while contributing to Apliman’s AI initiatives across the company.

Interns will work with technologies and areas such as:

• Agentic AI development: building multi-step AI agents with tool-calling capability
• LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and others adopted by Apliman)
• Prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector stores
• AI feature development on Apliman’s AIDA platform
• Python for AI/ML development; familiarity with PyTorch and machine learning frameworks

Throughout the program, interns will be exposed to real AI projects, participate in AI Team standups and sprint planning, contribute to code and prompt reviews, and learn best practices for building and deploying AI systems responsibly.

Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related program
• Foundational knowledge of Python (Java or JavaScript is a plus)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and basic understanding of machine learning or LLM concepts
• Demonstrated interest in AI through coursework, projects, hackathons, or self-study
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Full-time availability during the internship period

Working Conditions:
The internship is comprised of 2 phases over the course of 3 months. Each phase is different than the other.

Phase 1 is an introductory self-learning phase focused on AI foundations, where interns will be fully remote (they may attend the office if they please). In Phase 2, interns embed within the AI Team or a hosting department to work on real AI tasks and use cases. If any intern fails to complete or poorly completes any of the phases assigned, the program will be halted at any stage after receiving technical feedback.
