Internship overview:

QA (Quality Assurance) Engineering Intern Duties:

• Test Case Creation: Translate product requirements into detailed, step-by-step test cases to ensure new features work as intended.
• Automated Testing: Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts (using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) to speed up release cycles.
• Manual & Exploratory Testing: Perform hands-on testing of the software to uncover edge cases and unexpected user behaviors.
• Bug Tracking: Document detailed defect reports (using tools like Jira or Bugzilla) with exact reproduction steps, logs, and screenshots.
• Regression Testing: Verify that new code updates haven't broken previously working features in the application.
