Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building robust, efficient, and scalable backend services using PHP/Laravel and Java/Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using our modern, up-to-date stack: PHP 8 with Laravel 13, and Java 25 with Spring Boot 4.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with front-end components.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest development trends, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and query design.
• Solid understanding of core programming principles.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
