Job Overview

Neo Mena Technologies is currently looking for an accountant to enrich their skills and grow as part of a team in the heart of digital innovation. 

You will be responsible for accounting and finance activities for multiple entities, processing data entry using Quickbooks and issuing financial statements for each entity as a standalone and issuing consolidated financial statements as per IFRS, assist the auditors of each entity with the yearly audit and lead all the requirements for tax and NSSF reporting for the SAL entity.

You should be an excellent team member whilst also showing resourcefulness and the ability to work through challenging problems. It will be your responsibility to complete work of a high standard in a time sensitive environment.

Responsibilities:

● Data entry on Quickbooks Online Accountant for SAL company (Lebanese entity), KSCC company (Kuwaiti entity), DIFC Company (Emirati entity), ADGM Company (Emirati entity) as per IFRS standards

● Issuing financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow statement, Statement of changes in Equity) for each entity as a standalone and issuing consolidated financial statements using Equity method on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.

● Assisting the auditors with the yearly audit of of SAL company, KSCC company, DIFC company and ADGM company and operational audit of KSCC company.

● MOF reporting and NSSF reporting for SAL company; declaring salary tax, declaring annual corporate tax, monthly NSSF payments, annual nominal schedule, and all forms required by the MOF and NSSF

● Process the payments of salary tax, corporate tax and issuing checks to NSSF at the bank

● Corporate secretary; following up on all legal and regulative requirements with the lawyers and secretaries of each entity

● Day to day administrative tasks for Lebanese entity; following up with the landlord on premises maintenance, securing the hardware for new team members when needed by actively engaging with suppliers and preparing the cash needed through the bank

● Accounts Payable Manager

Job Requirement:

• Required Bachelors or foreign equivalence in Business Administration, Concentration Accounting or Finance, Masters is a plus
• 4+ years of experience in accounting, experience in DIFC and ADGM entities is a must.
• CPA in IFRS (ACCA) or Diploma in IFRS is a plus
• Experience in Quickbooks
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting and consolidation using equity method principles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, risk analysis, and decision making skills required.
• Monitoring and ensuring cash flow for each entity for its Operational expenditure
