We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst

A bit about us

AlGooru is a Saudi-based edtech startup that uses AI to connect students with on-demand private tutors over 20+ subjects.

Main responsibilities

Building and maintaining dashboards

Monitoring dashboards’ performances, quality control plans, experiments and constantly identifying improvement opportunities

A day in your life

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports

Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Visualize and analyze internal funnels and pipelines

Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

Build dashboards with data visualization tools like Data Studio, Metabase, etc

Requirements

Experience needed

4+ years of proven experience as a Data/Business Analyst

4+ years of experience building dashboards on BI tools

4+ years of experience building and analyzing reports

You’re adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings

You have the ability to turn data into a narrative/story; storytelling skills

You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

You’re a technical expert in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques

You have extensive knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc)

2+ years of experience in managing a team
