- Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand a portfolio of corporate clients through continuous prospecting, visits, and calls leading to funnel generation into the CRM system.
- Identify and resolve Customers’ inquiries and recommend SHELT’s best Offerings within their budgets & technical requirements.
- Persistently engage with clients throughout the sales cycle until successful closure.
- Ensure the achievement of agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the timeline.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the CRM system by creating new opportunities for existing and new customers, keeping all opportunities updated throughout the sales cycle.
- Update the Management on a weekly basis with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services; Participate in the weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and funnel metrics review meetings.
- Maintain a high level of funnel hygiene and submit sales pipelines on time.
- Prepare all the quotations and tender documents and follow up on the deadlines for submissions.
- Negotiate the quotations, tenders, and contract terms to meet both client and company needs within the allocated authority limits maximizing the margins for each deal.
- Create a sales order to provide them to the customers.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Develop a good and strong sales market for our business partners.
- Attend Vendors’ training, Webinars, and conferences.
- Accomplish new certifications and develop sales & technical know-how.
- Ad-Hoc Assignments / Reports as per the management requests.
Pre-sales & Technical Coordination responsibilities:
- Collect and communicate customers’ needs with the Presales and Technical team to deliver the best client-focused solutions based on their inquiries.
- Attend meetings with the Presales and Technical team to present the value proposition of designed solutions to customers.
- Remain up to date with market trends and competitors’ activities.
After Sales Responsibilities:
- Manage and follow up on order deliveries through business partners.
- Act as a point of contact for customers and resolve emerging issues always ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions.
- Follow up with customers with overdue payments.
Position Expectation:
This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage various aspects of the sales process, from prospecting and engaging corporate clients to achieving sales targets within specified timelines. Key responsibilities include:
- Sales Development:

- Prepare quotations and tender documents, ensuring timely submissions and negotiating terms to meet both client and company requirements.
- Technical Coordination:
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to understand customer requirements and present tailored solutions.
- After Sales Support:
- Manage order deliveries and act as the main point of contact for resolving customer issues, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends and enhance technical knowledge through training and certifications.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Cisco certification and experience is a plus.
- years of related experience in the IT/networking industry in Nigeria.
- Enterprise / Commercial Sector experience in Nigeria is preferable.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
