Aspire Software is looking for a AWS Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Lebanon.

What you day will look like:

• Manage and maintain AWS EC2 instances, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee and improve Elastic Beanstalk environments.
• Manage the Application Load Balancer (ALB) and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Administer and optimize S3 storage solutions.
• Support and expand Lambda functions for both product-related and internal purposes.
• Enhance and streamline CloudWatch metrics and monitoring, potentially integrating with Zabbix for comprehensive monitoring solutions.
• Implement security best practices across the AWS environment, addressing existing gaps and ensuring robust protection.
• Design and manage VPC setups, ensuring effective segmentation and migration of EC2 instances to appropriate environments (dev, staging, prod).
• Develop and implement improved solutions for setting up development environments for Elastic Beanstalk.
• Lead the adoption and implementation of CloudFormation/CDK, ensuring infrastructure can be rebuilt automatically.
• Stay up-to-date with AWS best practices and emerging services, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing AWS environments ( This includes automation of infrastructure creation, automation scripting, terraform.
• Experience in setup of security perimeters, network knowledge in AWS, configuration and cost optimization of the AWS infrastructure environment.
• Strong expertise in EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, ALB, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Proven experience with VPC design and management.
• Solid understanding of AWS security best practices.
• Experience with CloudFormation/CDK and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Zabbix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in the US Central Time Zone on a regular basis.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
