Job Overview:

The IT Intern will provide essential support to the IT department, assisting in hardware and software troubleshooting, system maintenance, and network support. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment while contributing to ongoing projects and day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, proactive, and has a strong interest in IT systems and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Provide first-level technical support to employees, both onsite and remotely.
• Assist with the installation and configuration of computer systems, software, and network devices.
• Troubleshoot common IT issues, including connectivity problems, software installations, and printer setups.
• Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
• Create, update, and maintain IT documentation, while tracking and resolving IT issues.
• Perform routine system and network maintenance and updates.
• Develop and apply troubleshooting methods for various IT systems, including networks, servers, and applications.
• Assist in the configuration and implementation of IT systems and tools.
• Basic experience with system administration tools (Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and software applications.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Familiarity with system administration tools (Active Directory, Group Policy) is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
