Job Overview
Neo Mena Technologies is currently looking for a Senior UI/UX designer – based in Beirut to enrich their skills and grow as part of a team at the heart of digital innovation.
As a Senior UX/UI Designer you will play a critical role in leading design projects, setting the strategic direction for user experience and interface design, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will also mentor junior designers, ensuring the highest design quality, and contributing to shaping the design culture and vision within the company.
You will be responsible for implementing the design of new features and interfaces across platforms while heavily involved in product discovery with product and development teams.
To bring designs to life, you should be an excellent team member whilst also showing resourcefulness and the ability to work through challenging problems. It will be your responsibility to complete work of a high standard in a time-sensitive environment.
We look for candidates who possess superior UX UI skills and can translate complex user journeys into smooth and intuitive interactions.

Responsibilities
• Strategic Direction: Set strategic direction for design projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Design Mastery: Demonstrate advanced UX/UI design skills, including wire framing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders in an agile environment to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with project goals.
• Mentorship: Begin mentoring junior designers, offering feedback, and guiding them in their design processes.
• Advanced Design Tools Proficiency: Expert in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar, with strong prototyping skills for creating interactive mockups of complex user flows.
• UX Research and Analysis: Highly skilled in conducting user research, usability testing, synthesizing insights, and analyzing user behavior with tools like Hotjar and Google Analytics or similar.
• Design Systems: Experienced in building and maintaining design systems with a strong understanding of component-based design and Atomic Design principles.
• Data-Driven Design: Proficient in using data and analytics to inform and validate design decisions that align with user needs and business goals.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Multimedia/ Web and digital design
• 3-5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities
• Strong UI/UX fundamentals
• Up to date with the latest UX UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
• Expert-level proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills and successful projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Considered a plus
• Experience working with responsive design and mobile app design.
• Experience working in the fintech and investments industry.
• Front-end knowledge to effectively collaborate with developers on the feasibility of design implementations.
