Internship overview: 

We are looking for a Junior Mechatronics Engineer Intern to join our team, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate who is hardworking, passionate, and eager to gain hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and embedded control systems.

Location: Sin El Fil

Duration: 2-3 months

Responsibilities:

• Assist in mechanical design and 3D modeling using SolidWorks.
• Work with Arduino and microcontrollers for prototyping and control systems.
• Perform basic electronics design and wiring for embedded systems.
• Conduct simulations such as stress analysis, thermal analysis, and circuit simulations.
• Develop and test automation and other control-related projects.
• Research and document sensors, actuators, and control algorithms.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and presentations in clear English.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering (or final-year student).
• Experience with SolidWorks for CAD modeling and basic simulations.
• Knowledge of Arduino programming and basic embedded systems.
• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Basic electronics knowledge (circuit design, wiring, power management).
• Strong research and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Good command of English for technical writing and communication.
• Previous experience working on engineering projects (university or personal).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred (Bonus Skills):

• Experience with Python or C++ for embedded programming.
• Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System) or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with 3D printing, CNC machining, and PCB design.
• Understanding of PID control, robotics kinematics, and automation systems.
