Employment Type: Contract (20 months)
Reports To: Operations Director
Overview:
The Program Coordinator will manage and implement a startup incubation & acceleration program. The selected candidate will oversee incubation and acceleration programs, coordinate with startups, mentors, and stakeholders, and ensure successful program execution.
This is a contractual position for 20 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation & Coordination
- Oversee and coordinate all activities related to the incubation and acceleration program.
- Support in conducting market assessments and other research activities.
- Assist in the startup selection process, ensuring fair and transparent evaluation.
- Develop and implement structured startup support programs, from ideation to market entry.
- Organize events such as bootcamps, pitching sessions, and Demo Days.
- Follow up and provide ongoing guidance to startups, helping them navigate challenges and meet program milestones.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mentors, trainers, investors, and corporate partners.
- Represent the program in events, networking opportunities, and public engagements.
Training & Resource Development
- Identify and coordinate trainers, mentors, and experts to support startups.
- Help develop learning materials, toolkits, and online resources.
- Facilitate workshops, capacity-building sessions, and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
Operational Oversight
- Assist in budget planning and financial reporting, ensuring cost-effective program execution.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on program impact.
- Assist in writing different program related reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in program coordination, entrepreneurship support, or project management.
- Understanding of Lebanon’s startups and innovation ecosystem.
- Experience working with startups, incubators, or accelerators.
- Strong event planning and coordination skills, with experience organizing workshops, bootcamps, or mentorship programs.
- Basic experience with reporting for donor-funded projects.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience using project management tools (Airtable, ClickUp, or similar platforms).
- Basic understanding of financial planning for programs.
- Knowledge of renewable energy, climate tech, or sustainability-focused entrepreneurship.
