Internship overview:
- Assist in inspecting computer equipment and installing hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives.
- Support the IT team in troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.
- Help install and configure designated software packages, including operating systems, business applications, and office tools.
- Provide first-level support for user inquiries related to networking, operating systems, and software applications.
- Assist in monitoring IT systems and networks to identify and report issues to senior team members.
- Help document hardware and software configurations, troubleshooting steps, and issue resolutions.
- Support in managing service desk tickets by logging incidents, prioritizing requests, and providing status updates.
- Follow IT policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Majors preferences: Computer Science, Computer Engineering
Technical requirements:
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0 to one year of experience in Information Technology, or a similar role.
