Role overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Systems Administrator responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of our corporate IT systems. The ideal candidate will manage server patching, maintain Windows Active Directory, oversee domain administration, and be experienced in virtualization technologies (particularly Hyper-V). This role requires a solid technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to system optimization and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Windows-based servers, including scheduling and applying security patches.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory (user accounts, groups, policies) and domain administration.
• Oversee virtualization environments, especially using Hyper-V, to ensure optimal resource allocation and performance.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of availability.
• Implement security controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard systems and data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and ensure smooth IT operations.
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure changes, configurations, and processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Windows-based server environment (Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy).
• Solid understanding of network protocols and domain administration.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, specifically Hyper-V.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with patch management and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
