Job Description
Job Summary:
The Program Manager will be responsible of overseeing BDD Academy’s ongoing programs and operations. As second in command, he/she will ensure the efficiency of business and guarantee that the academy is maintaining its goals from both operational and impact points of view.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with BDD Academy Executive Director to set and drive the academy’s vision, operational strategy, growth goals and key performance indicators
- Designing programs to develop digital talent in collaboration with implementation partners to reach the academy’s target output, outcome and impact
- Managing the training providers sourcing process: Publishing the open call for applications, reaching out to relevant training providers, monitoring and assessing received proposals against eligibility criteria, meeting with potential training providers and submitting eligible programs to the academy’s selection committee
- Managing the beneficiary sourcing strategy from schools, universities and under-served areas
- Developing, in collaboration with BDD Academy Executive Director, a monitoring and evaluation plan for the academy
- Designing and deploying, in collaboration with BDD Academy Executive Director, a Monitoring and Evaluation system to enable all BDD Academy’s programs to collect, aggregate and support analysis of data in order to meet all relevant reporting requirements
- Advising BDD Academy’s training providers on the choice of performance and impact indicators and helping them in the development of monitoring plans
- Monitoring BDD Academy programs’ activities, outputs and progress towards anticipated results
- Tracking and updating monitoring and evaluation data as well as ensuring the data is of the best quality possible
- Designing, in collaboration with BDD Academy Executive Director, the academy’s fundraising strategy
- Producing internal reports and conduct reviews on the performance and progress of institutional fundraising against agreed financial targets, operational activities and annual objectives
- Managing due diligence processes and facilitating donor audits
- Ensure reporting requirements for all institutional donors are met and reports are completed to deadlines
- Developing relationships with major donors, identifying new potential donors and nurturing relationships by ensuring that funding agencies are happy with their donation scheme and are kept informed of progress and milestones
- Developing and implementing, in collaboration with BDD Academy Executive Director and supported by the Program Coordinator, the talent management strategy of the academy
Job Qualifications:
- Master in Business Administration or related field
- Five to ten years of experience in program management
- Roles in Talent Development are a plus
- Experience in NGOs is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluent in English and Arabic
