Internship Overview:

Oreyeon is a startup company, and part of NVIDIA’s Inception Program, providing AI solutions to airports focusing on safety and automation of operations. Oreyeon's goal is to re-imagine airport safety by implementing proactive features, eliminating human error, and reducing costs by using cutting-edge technologies.

We're looking for a fast learner, innovative mind, hard worker, and ambitious developer who is aiming to grow their skill-set and take on new challenges.

Current education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science (similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience)

Responsibilities:

• Implement and design virtual 3D environments
• Learn and experiment with different Unity packages
• Build interactive 3D systems and processes that fit set requirements
• Look into advances and trends in visual technology
• Write clear and reliable code

This 2 to 3 months internship program is a great opportunity to contribute to Oreyeon's products while elevating your computer graphics skills, gaining new perspectives, understanding the aviation industry and much more.

Work schedule: Flexible

Location: BDD, Beirut, Lebanon

Majors Preferences: Computer Science, Computer Engineering

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience with realtime 3D engines such as Unity or Unreal
• Fluent in C#
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming
• Familiar with 3D motion graphics and computer graphics
•  Knowledge about 3D environments, 3D models and scene set up
• Experience with Unity frameworks
• Strong knowledge of 3D mathematics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with textures
• Knowledge about lighting set up
• Familiar with materials and shaders
• Experience with AR/ VR development

Soft Skills Required:

• Writing & communicating in English easily
• Documenting solutions and explanations clearly
• Communicating with peers professionally
• Reporting to team meetings on a weekly basis

Other:

• This is a hybrid internship
• Based on performance, there is a chance for a full time position
