How You Operate
This role is strategic and reports directly to the CSO. As the Sales Director, you have strong closing skills, you are extremely persistent willing to prospect, and work well without supervision. You are highly motivated, effective at building relationships, and have consistent listening skills. You have a positive attitude that reflects on your team and drives them to close deals and always keep an eye for metrics-based performance and improvements.
What You Will Do
Your areas of concentration include:
Standard opportunity processes
Sales Metrics
Pipeline and sales bookings analytics
Monthly Sales cadence
Win / Loss reviews
Hovi CRM update and utilization
Support of the commission plan execution
As the Sales Director you will:
Prospect and develop strong relationships with prospects
Oversee and support account executives team by aiming to close new business consistently at or above quota expectations
Follow up with AEs on sales opportunities: progress, status, updating relevant information on Hovi etc.
Be the point of contact between BDR team, Sales team and Marketing team
Manage a pipeline on a weekly and monthly basis of current deals in the CRM.
Oversee and contribute to drafting proposals and responses to client RFPs.
Coordinate internally with engineers/others to design creative solutions for prospects as per their requirements and to identify and coordinate any technical assistance needed.
Manage to develop, report, and automate key performance metrics and reporting tools to help drive revenue and optimize Sales efficiency and visibility.
Ensure revenue targets are achieved by the members of the sales team.
Identify key areas for improvement in the sales process.
What You’ll Need
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A love for writing and creating content pieces to promote our brand.
The business acumen is necessary to sell into a C-suite.
A strong track record of writing content for a SaaS company.
A desire to learn quickly and deeply about a wide range of issues.
A very strong work ethic, with a track record for getting things done in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
Experience working in an energetic business environment.
BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
Successful previous experience in sales preferably in SaaS companies, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
