Job Title: Growth & Marketing Director

(Tech-forward leadership role for BNPL launch in Lebanon)

Overview

We are launching Slide it, Lebanon’s first Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platform, and we are seeking a Growth & Marketing Director to lead our market entry and growth journey. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will craft the marketing strategy, lead awareness campaigns, drive customer acquisition, and oversee activations both online and at partner stores. You will also lead a small but high-impact team to ensure Slide it becomes a household name in Lebanon.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Develop a comprehensive marketing plan for launch and growth phases (awareness, acquisition, retention).
• Map out consumer journeys (awareness → trial → adoption → loyalty).
• Align marketing activities with business objectives, merchant growth, and customer success goals.

Campaigns & Digital Marketing

• Launch a nationwide awareness campaign (TV, OOH, digital, influencer).
• Design and execute performance marketing campaigns (social ads, Google, retargeting, SEO, app-store optimization).
• Create data-driven experiments (A/B testing, funnel optimization).
• Oversee content strategy (storytelling, social media, educational content about BNPL).

On-Ground Activations & Merchant Marketing

• Plan and execute activations at partner stores (POS branding, staff training, promotional events).
• Work with the Merchant Account Manager to develop co-branded promotions with top retailers.
• Monitor in-store brand visibility and consumer engagement.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Directly manage:

  • Merchant Account Manager (responsible for merchant partnerships, co-marketing, POS activations).

  • Customer Success Lead (responsible for customer onboarding, retention, and loyalty).

• Provide clear objectives, guidance, and weekly check-ins with both team members.

• Align cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Operations, Finance) to ensure unified execution.

• Mentor and grow the team, setting a culture of creativity, accountability, and performance.

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor key marketing metrics and report progress weekly to leadership.
• Track adoption trends, campaign ROI, merchant engagement, and customer retention.
• Continuously improve based on data-driven insights.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

1. Awareness & Brand Growth

• % brand awareness after launch (measured by  digital reach).
• PR mentions, media coverage, influencer engagement.
• Social media followers, engagement rate, and reach growth.

2. Customer Acquisition & Activation

• App downloads & sign-ups (target per month).
• Active customers using BNPL monthly.
• CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) vs. target.

3. Merchant Marketing & Store Activations

• Number of partner stores activated with branding.
• Merchant satisfaction scores.
• Sales uplift or BNPL adoption % at activated stores.

4. Retention & Engagement

• Monthly Active Users (MAU).
• Repeat usage rate per customer.
• Customer NPS (Net Promoter Score).

5. Budget & ROI

• Marketing spend vs. ROI (measured by acquisition cost & lifetime value).
• Campaign performance vs. KPIs set in the marketing plan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Marketing, Growth, or Digital Strategy (fintech, e-commerce, or consumer tech preferred).
• Proven experience launching large-scale marketing campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of digital growth tactics, analytics tools, and performance marketing.
• Skilled in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Bilingual: Arabic & English (French a plus).
• Entrepreneurial, data-driven, and hands-on mindset.
