Full-Time Team Leader – Social Media Department
Job Scope
The Team Leader plays a key role in managing client relationships, guiding the account management team, and ensuring strategic alignment across all social media activities. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to ensure that all deliverables meet *NEON Consultancy’s* standards of quality, creativity, and efficiency.
Key Activities and Responsibilities :
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Primary Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded in CEO absence.
- Strategic Guidance: Develop and present tailored social media strategies aligned with client objectives and business goals.
- Feedback & Approvals: Manage the client feedback process and ensure approvals are secured in a timely manner to maintain workflow efficiency.
2. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Supervision: Oversee the account management team to ensure smooth coordination across briefs, reports, and day-to-day tasks.
- Mentorship & Growth: Support the professional development of team members through regular feedback, coaching, and shadowing sessions.
- Resource Planning: Allocate workloads effectively and ensure the right expertise is assigned to each project, including guidance on Arabic copywriting when needed.
- Account Coverage: Step in to manage client accounts directly when an executive is on leave or if a position becomes vacant, ensuring continuity of service and smooth client communication.
3. Project & Campaign Management:
- Planning: Lead the creation of comprehensive social media strategies and campaign plans in collaboration with creative and strategy teams.
- Execution Oversight: Monitor ongoing projects to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timelines, maintaining high-quality outputs.
- Performance Analysis: Review campaign results, extract insights, and propose improvements for future activations and optimizations.
4. Campaign Coordination & Strategy:
- Partner closely with the Paid Media Strategist to ensure seamless campaign setup, optimization, and reporting.
- Lead the planning and execution of campaigns across multiple clients, ensuring creative consistency and timely delivery.
5. Performance Management & KPIs:
- Track, assess, and update the KPIs of all team members regularly.
- Ensure accountability by aligning individual and team performance with overall agency objectives.
6. Account Strategy & Activations:
- Develop end-to-end strategies for client accounts, including brand activations, platform strategies, and paid media plans.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to proactively enhance client strategies.
7. Client & Team Support:
- Provide hands-on support during high-priority moments — assisting with urgent client requests, communication, or workload balancing.
- Serve as an escalation point for internal and client issues when needed, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
8. Onboarding & Training:
- Lead onboarding and training for new hires, ensuring they understand company tools, workflows, and expectations.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions covering areas such as client communication, strategy development, AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT), and best practices
9. Process Improvement:
- Workflow Optimization: Strengthen collaboration between Account Management and Design teams to increase operational efficiency.
- Quality Control: Ensure all client deliverables are reviewed before submission, maintaining consistency and excellence across all outputs.
10. Leadership Development:
- Represent the NEON culture of accountability, creativity, and growth.
- Contribute to leadership meetings, provide input on team structure and development, and identify opportunities for improvement
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Business Administration.
- 5–7 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to develop and implement social media strategies that drive measurable results.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and paid campaign structures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English (Arabic is a strong plus).
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Notion, Trello, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
- High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
Full-time position: Required to attend the office four days per week – Monday to Thursday.
Sunday is a work-from-home day.
