Job Description

1. Key Goal:

The Space Coordinator is responsible for providing a friendly and helpful information, direction and administrative support in the BDD information booth in order to ensure visitors’ management and referrals to the BDD community, in addition to conducting basic logistics and administrative tasks.

2. Duties & Responsibilities:

o Greeting and welcoming visitors to the space
o Answering phone calls, taking messages and delivering correct and accurate information
o Managing the booking of the sports court & handing and receiving they keys of the court to the employees
o Monitoring the functioning of the surround systems and making sure that they are always ready to use by event organizers
o Reporting damage, problems and accidents
o Placing all equipment in the designated lockers and making sure they are closed
o Making sure the AV equipment is functional and supporting tenants in events with their use
o Returning all AV equipment from the tenants and placing them in the designated lockers

3. Education & Experience

o A technical or university degree / pursuing university degree
o University student/ Fresh graduate or an employee looking for a night shift position

4. Competencies & Skills

o Familiar with MS Office
o Ability to read, write and speak in either Arabic, French or English
o Ability to perform a routine work and be sitting for several hours
o Ability to comprehend, carry out and relay multiple verbal and written instructions
o Mental and visual effort; intermittent attention to detail
o Good verbal communication skills
o Demonstrate flexibility and ease in interacting with diverse group of people
o Ability to work independently
o Ability to work in a busy environment
o Ability to remain calm in emergency/stressful situations
o Ability to take decisions and solve problems on the ground

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. & 2 half-day Saturday or Sundays a month (depending on business needs)
