Media Buyer - Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Conducting market research and analyzing demographics, media usage, and buying patterns to define the target audience and meet campaign requirements
- Developing advertising strategies and campaigns to reach the desired audience most effectively
- Sourcing and presenting audience data and advertising proposals
- Checking and proofreading advertising material before launching campaigns
- Coordinating and overseeing the development and launch of campaigns
- Coordinating closely with the Commercial Team to ensure the most cost-effective deal structures
- Managing budgets and monitoring campaign costs and ROI metrics
- Tracking, reporting, and presenting campaign data such as views, impressions, click-throughs rates, engagement, and customer conversion rates
- Monitoring audience and media trends, practices, and new technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, MIS, or related fields
- Minimum of three years of experience in media buying
- A solid understanding of the online media industry, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Business Manager
- Knowledge of Ad Management platforms such as Google Ad Manager (DFP) is a plus
- Strong computer skills with Excel, MS Office, and Google Suite
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Excellent financial skills and the ability to manage large budgets
- The ability to collaborate with others and work as part of a team under pressure and deliver campaign KPIs
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
