Raseef22 English is committed to providing compelling and impactful content for a diverse, pan-Arab audience. To strengthen our presence on social media, we are seeking a creative and driven intern to help us develop our digital presence. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or early-career professionals looking to hone their skills in content creation, branding, and social media strategy while working in a collaborative and creative environment with our English editor Tracy J. Jawad, and our resident translator/social media coordinator, Rasha Srour.

The candidate must be fluent in English and Arabic.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a part-time Social Media & Graphic Design Intern to support our team by:

1. Developing visually engaging and cohesive social media post designs and templates tailored for English Raseef22.

2. Managing our social media accounts (e.g., scheduling posts and engaging with followers through a variety of formats, i.e. video, Instagram stories, highlights, etc.)

3. Contributing to the graphic design needs for campaigns and ensuring brand consistency across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and build a set of reusable, brand-aligned social media templates for platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

● Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments/messages, and monitoring trends to optimize engagement.

● Create on-brand graphics and multimedia content (e.g., infographics, banners, and promotional visuals) for social media.

● Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights to improve reach and engagement.

● Assist Tracy and Rasha with occasional brainstorming sessions for content ideas and campaigns. Work closely with Rasha on curating the social media posts that should go live on English Raseef22’s accounts, and ensuring the captions are proofread and user-friendly.

● Coordinate with our social media team on which posts should be available on both pages, and in both languages.

○ Regularly assess the Arabic Raseef22 page for posts and content that align with English Raseef22’s editorial mission.

Qualifications:

● Proficiency in the necessary graphic design tools (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, video production and editing is a plus).

● Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools (Raseef22 uses Hootsuite, Link in Bio, and Buffer).

● Strong sense of design aesthetics and attention to detail.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

● Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently within a flexible schedule.

● Bonus: Experience in content creation, social media analytics, or previous internship in a similar role.
