Company overview:
Warchee was born from the observation that women are excluded from certain professions that remain the preserve of men, notably the construction, architecture, engineering, and urban planning sectors. Warchee presents a unique initiative to introduce the world of craftsmanship and construction to Lebanese women of all ages who do not have access to these skills because of income, social, and cultural perception and location constraints. Warchee's goal is to create employment (or self-employment) opportunities through supporting women, establishing partnerships and collaborations with construction companies in order to help them find and recruit qualified female candidates, and developing good DIY techniques in the construction field for private and public site implementations through workshops with different levels of expertise.
