Job Description

Private Tutor - All Levels School Students – Lebanese Curriculum

Private tutors provide one-on-one educational assistance to school students and younger kids. As an elementary school tutor, you may help children (grades Preschool – 12ème) with their online sessions and daily homework help. Creates lesson plans, administers praise and constructive criticism, instructs students on subjects such as Arabic, science, literature, and math, and creates a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program.

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic support in targeted subject areas via individual or group tutoring.
• Work with the tutee to develop a tutoring plan that fits the student’s individual needs.
• Review course content, explain how to solve problems, help prepare for a test, ensure a friendly and productive learning environment.
• Work with students to improve their skills in certain subjects.
• Design, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students in line with the curriculum
• Evaluate students' progress and discuss the results with students and/or their parents.
• Identify students' individual learning needs.
• Extensive knowledge in the Lebanese Curriculum

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in the language in which the course should be taught
• Has a Teaching Diploma
• Know the Lebanese Curriculum
• Have up-to-date knowledge about learning theories, techniques and resources.
• Excellent communication skills - You need to communicate in writing and orally with students and their parents.
• Able to present lessons, explain rules and encourage discussion.
• Able to encourage and motivate students and communicate their progress to parents

Kindly note that the opportunities are in Lebanon, in-person and online tutoring is available.
Part-time Morning (9-2pm) / Afternoon Shift (2-7pm)
Part-time tutors are required to be fluent both in English and French.
