1. Key Goal

Designing and Drafting plans to create or refurbish spaces with the clients' tastes in mind and in line with the management directions, along with the coordination to all design issues with other project interfaces

2. Duties & Responsibilities

• Designing and Drafting plans to create or refurbish spaces with the clients' tastes in mind. In creating plans for a space, to take into account interior construction, lighting and furnishings
• Be in line with the design trends and updates in design and furniture layouts
• Meeting with clients and assisting with determination of project requirements, objectives and budgets.
• Manages ZRE furniture stock and be aware of stock availability of on-boarding and off-boarding tenants and for furniture replacement.
• Preparing and presenting design and branding proposals in a realistic 3D visualization to the client
• Reviewing of contractors and suppliers quotations.
• Preparing bill of quantities
• Specifying the nature and quality of materials required which includes executional drawings
• Helping to coordinate the work of contractors
• Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget.
• Quality control tracking from start to handing over
• Be in line with the legal regulations so their designs are up-to-code
• Use computer drafting programs, such as computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), Photoshop and Google Sketch-up
• Discussing the objectives, requirements and budget of a project
• Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals to the client
• Advising the client on the practicality of their project
• Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications
• Specifying the nature and quality of materials required
• Preparing a visual for project concept
• Controlling a project from start to finish
• Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction
• Ensuring that the environmental impact of the project is managed

3. Education & Experience

• University degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• 0 to 3 years of experience in a similar job

4.Competencies & Skills

• Creativity and imagination
• Ability to visualize concepts and explain them to others
• Wide exposure to buildings Design and Construction                                           
• Fluency in written / spoken English, French and Arabic
• Professional computer literacy in MS Office applications and planning software, AutoCAD, MS project, Photoshop, illustrator.
• Ability to deliver on agreed objectives/targets
• Ability to take initiative and apply considerable ingenuity and practical knowledge
• Team player, positive thinker, strong communication skills, problem solving
