Job Description
BDD is looking for an outgoing and creative Social Media Officer to oversee BDD’s Social Media and online platforms and create interesting content. The candidate will play a critical role in keeping the BDD brand active and relevant on different social platforms. The role includes analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to generate leads. The candidate needs to have a passion for content creation, to know how to leverage online tools for insights and align their work with the brand goals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop social media calendar, content, and reports in coordination with Marketing & Specialist for the following platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, LinkedIn, Twitter and others. generating new ideas and optimizing the brand’s presence online and offline.
- Understand the BDD brand, its community, and BDD’s business objectives to generate relevant audiences, messages and digital content that is aligned with marketing plan
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content that builds meaningful connections
- Highlight the perks to create the feeling of wanting to be part of BDD
- Contact BDD community members and coordinate relevant topics that can be leveraged on BDD channels
- Cover community events and leverage all campus activities on BDD’s digital channels
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends and generate content that maintains BDD’s relevance with target audiences
- Research influencers and recommend partnerships with brands and influencers
- Prepare and present monthly reports for the account’s progress and present suggestions for improvement
- Continuously improve account results by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Create fun content on Tiktok and Instagram reels
Requirements and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing
- 1-3 years of experience

- Highly creative and collaborative
- Strong Marketing skillset across the entire social media landscape (Community management, content creation & distribution, analysis).
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Meticulousness and attention to detail
- Superb organizational skills
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task and switch focus based on priorities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Having Graphic Design Skills is a plus
