Job Overview:

LIFE is looking for a consultant for a period of 6 months for a new project related to outsourcing opportunities in Lebanon. The consultant will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all aspects of the project's objectives, ensuring alignment with our mission and values. This role involves research, collaboration with stakeholders, fostering partnerships and strategic thinking to create an action plan for promoting Lebanon as an outsourcing destination. Hi/she will report directly to the head of the promote pillar.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Job Market trends:

• Conduct research on global remote job market trends and skills that are in high demand.
• Analyse data and provide insights to adapt the project's strategies to meet global job market needs

Mapping of the ecosystem:

• Conduct a mapping of the main players in Lebanon in the outsourcing sector
• Conduct a mapping of the main training providers/upskilling initiatives in Lebanon
• Study countries that have been able to successfully create an outsourcing industry, draw key takeaways that can be applied in Lebanon

Consortium Development:

• Create, manage and actively engage with a consortium of the main outsourcing industry players in Lebanon.

Diaspora Engagement:

• Define and refine the role that the diaspora should play in this initiative
• Develop strategies to engage the Lebanese diaspora community in promoting Lebanon as an outsourcing destination.

Promotion of Lebanon as an Outsourcing Destination:

• Develop a strategy to promote Lebanon’s outsourcing potential.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, project management, or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant discipline can be a plus.
• Strong research abilities to gather data, analyze market trends, and assess the competitive landscape in the outsourcing industry in Lebanon.
• Ability to translate research findings into actionable insights and strategies.
• Proven experience and track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Understanding of the outsourcing industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, would be ideal.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• A strategic mindset to develop and execute a comprehensive action plan for promoting Lebanon as an outsourcing destination.
• The ability to set clear goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the project's success.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to ensure that the project stays on track and meets deadlines.
• Alignment with the company's mission and values, as the project manager will be responsible for ensuring that the project aligns with the organization's ethical standards.
