Job Overview

Neo Mena Technologies is currently looking for a UI/UX designer to enrich their skills and grow as part of a team in the heart of digital innovation. 

You will be responsible for implementing the design of new features and interfaces across platforms while heavily involved in brainstorming with product and development teams.  

To bring designs to life, you should be an excellent team member whilst also showing resourcefulness and the ability to work through challenging problems. It will be your responsibility to complete work of a high standard in a time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

Translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts and functional user interfaces

Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering

Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods

Monitoring at all steps of software development from integration, testing, releasing to deployment and infrastructure management

Collaborate closely with developers and work in an agile environment

Lead and guide the UI/UX design process, from conceptualization to final implementation

Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, user needs, and business objectives.

Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform the design process.

Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to demonstrate design concepts and ideas.

Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across products.

 

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia/ Web & Digital Design

5 years’ of experience in Web & Digital design with illustration skills is a must

Strong UI/UX fundamentals

Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps

Experience using tools such as: Illustrator, InVision, Photoshop

Expert-level proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

Portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills and successful projects.

Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Considered a plus:

Experience working with responsive design and mobile app design.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.

Experience working in the fintech and investments industry.
