POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Talend and a strong data background to join our client’s team.

This role is pivotal in supporting the global ETL solution deployment for data initiatives as part of a broader digital and data transformation program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ETL Development and Standards: Implement and follow best practices and guidelines for Talend Data Management tools, ensuring quality from development to deployment.
• Project Support: Assist in project implementation phases, including data qualification, transformation, and integration.
• Collaboration: Work closely with technical experts to align ETL architecture, strategy, and patterns.
• Technical Analysis: Capture technical requirements, assess feasibility, and estimate associated workloads.
• Talend Job Management: Develop, deploy, audit, and document Talend jobs while conducting acceptance tests.
• Data Expertise: Apply a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Requirement Gathering: Participate in requirement gathering sessions and specify data modeling needs.
• Full Data Chain Development: Design, develop, and deploy complete data processing chains.
• Database Management: Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
• DevOps Practices: Utilize knowledge of CI/CD models and their application in data engineering.
• Visualization Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Problem-Solving: Exhibit detail-oriented and problem-solving skills for ETL jobs, production issue resolution, and performance tuning.
• Stakeholder Communication: Manage effective communication with business teams and stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary squad.
