Role Overview
The Marketing and Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling living snails as a premium food product and snail slime for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. This role requires developing and executing marketing strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, managing sales pipelines, and ensuring market growth through targeted campaigns and partnerships. The Specialist will focus on positioning the products as high-quality, sustainable, and aligned with European standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy Development and Execution
- Develop marketing strategies to promote living snails as a delicacy for the food industry and snail slime as a premium ingredient for cosmetics.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target markets, and customer preferences in both sectors.
- Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, product descriptions, and digital content.
- Manage social media platforms and online presence, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Plan and execute campaigns to highlight the sustainable, high-quality, and health benefits of the products.
2. Sales Pipeline Management
- Identify and target potential clients, including gourmet food distributors, high-end restaurants, and cosmetic manufacturers.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and conversions.
- Build relationships with key industry players to establish partnerships and distribution channels.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients in alignment with company goals.
3. Promotion of Living Snails (Food Market)
- Highlight the nutritional benefits and premium quality of snails as a delicacy.
- Collaborate with chefs, restaurants, and food distributors to promote menu integration of snails.
- Ensure product packaging and presentation meet the expectations of high-end food markets.
4. Promotion of Snail Slime (Cosmetic Market)
- Educate cosmetic brands, manufacturers, and distributors about the benefits of snail slime for skin care, including its anti-aging, hydrating, and regenerative properties.
- Develop tailored pitches and presentations for cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies.
- Collaborate with quality control and production teams to provide technical details and certifications for the slime.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase the product and expand the customer base.
5. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional post-sales support, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Gather client feedback to improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
6. Reporting and Market Analysis
- Track sales performance, including revenue, profitability, and market share, and report results to management.
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Use customer insights to refine marketing strategies and product positioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the food or cosmetic industries.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms.
- Preferable female, residing in Beirut
