Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our IT team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and operation of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other members of the IT team and various departments across the organization to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Maintain and monitor on-premise, cloud, and datacenter / colocation infrastructure including hybrid environments.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Ensure security compliance by implementing security policies and procedures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end-users.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement process improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Manage on-premise and cloud hosted email systems including Exchange, O365 and Google Workspace.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in system administration.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience with network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with managing Web Servers including IIS and Apache
• Experience with database management including SQL and Oracle.
• Familiarity with database management
• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions
