We are seeking a commercially driven and collaborative Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our diverse range of commercial offerings. These include bespoke training programs, community experiences, tailored membership packages, impactful brand partnerships, and more. As a core team member, you will collaborate closely with Operations, Marketing, Coaching, and Community Engagement to design, refine, and execute offerings that resonate with our diverse audiences. Your ability to conceptualize sellable products, communicate our vision effectively, and close deals with clients and partners will be instrumental in our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for new and existing products, programs, events, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with The Padelist’s business goals and audience needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to create compelling market-ready offerings such as academies, events, membership packages, and sponsorships.
- Define pricing and positioning strategies to maximize revenue and ensure competitive pricing while optimizing customer satisfaction.
- Lead sales initiatives for non-court products by proactively reaching out to new clients, managing inbound inquiries, and negotiating deals with clients, sponsors, and partners.
- Craft tailored proposals for corporate sponsors and clients, effectively communicating The Padelist’s offerings and securing long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with marketing to develop promotional strategies and materials for commercial products, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment.
- Monitor and assess product performance, leveraging key metrics and customer feedback to continuously refine and improve offerings.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the smooth execution of all commercial programs.
- Oversee the post-sale implementation process, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations while maintaining positive relationships.
- Identify new market opportunities and propose innovative initiatives to expand The Padelist’s reach and further its market position.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product development and sales strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management, business development, or sales, with a focus on creating and delivering commercial products and services.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate customer insights and business objectives into actionable, sellable offerings that drive engagement and growth.
- Extensive sales experience, with a track record of building relationships, negotiating deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and build lasting relationships with partners and clients.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work seamlessly across multiple teams (Operations, Marketing, Coaching) and align diverse perspectives to achieve shared goals.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and flexibility to adapt quickly to market changes and client needs.
- A deep passion for sports, wellness, or lifestyle industries; experience within the sports industry is a significant advantage.
