HR Generalist

Job Description

OCPH is seeking to recruit a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions, with a strong emphasis on payroll processing, insurance management and training coordination. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of HR operations while upholding compliance with company policies and relevant labor regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, a collaborative approach and a passion for delivering high-quality HR services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Support
  • Collect, review, and validate monthly payroll inputs, including overtime hours, incentives, deductions etc.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Address employee inquiries related to compensation, ensuring clear communication and confidentiality
  1. Insurance Management
  • Manage the end-to-end process of renewing the company’s medical insurance policies in coordination with insurance providers and brokers
  • Track and follow up on medical claims and pre-approvals, providing support to employees throughout the process
  • Serve as the primary liaison between employees and insurance partners, ensuring efficient resolution of issues
  1. Training Coordination
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate internal and external training programs in line with organizational development goals
  • Maintain accurate training documentation, attendance records, and post-training evaluation reports

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of payroll processes, labor law, and HR best practices
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail, particularly in handling confidential information
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software
  • Initiative-driven and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving

Educational Qualifications:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar HR role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
